After [adding](https://snowball-analytics.com/custom-holding-edit/new) a custom asset to your portfolio, you can manually add its price. But if the price history has many dates, you can download a history report separately.

The format Snowball report must be in CSV or XLSX and contains the base columns of the custom report. You can see more details [here](https://help.snowball-analytics.com/import-custom/).

In the Event column, the price history transaction will be called:

CUSTOM\_HOLDING\_PRICE

In the Exchange column, the following should be filled in:

CUSTOM\_HOLDING

In the Symbol column, the ticker of the custom asset is to be filled in.

The Date column should have the date in the format YYYY-MM-DD

💡

Please note that if you want to upload price history, the asset must already be in the portfolio with the same ticker that will be specified in the report.

When you download a report with price history, a warning will appear that the file does not contain data. Ignore this warning, the prices will be imported successfully.
