If your broker is currently not supported, you can create an excel or a csv file yourself and upload it.
The file contains the following columns:
- Event* - The occurring event. Values accepted are as follows:
- Buy (Purchase)
- Sell (Sale)
- Dividend
- Stock_As_Dividend (Stock dividend)
- Split
- Spinoff
- Fee (Commission)
- Cash_In (Account top-ups)
- Cash_Out (Withdrawal of funds from the account)
- Cash_Gain (Other income)
- Cash_Expense (Other expenses, for example, taxes)
- Cash_Convert (Conversion, or purchase and sale of cash, see an example of such an entry at the bottom of this page)
- Date* - Date of the event in the format yyyy-mm-dd (year-month-day, for example 2021-01-15)
- Symbol - Ticker of the stock or ISIN which the event is associated with (this field is left empty if the event is a Fee). For deposits and withdrawals we put in the currency that we are adding to or withdrawing from the account. For currency conversion it is the currency that will result from the conversion.
- Price*:
- If the event is a purchase or sale, it is the price for 1 share
- If the event is a dividend, it is the amount of the dividend per 1 share
- If the event is a dividend in the form of a stock, then you can put 0
- If the event is a split, it is the split coefficient (for example, in the case of AAPL split 4 to 1, you’d need to write 4)
- If the event is a spinoff or commission, you can put 0
- If the event is input, output, other income or expenses of a currency, you can put 1
- If the event is currency conversion, you need to put in the amount of the currency you’ve spent (converted) into new currency
- Quantity*:
- If the event is a purchase or sale, it is the number of assets
- If the event is a dividend, it is the total amount of dividends
- If the event is a dividend in the form of a share, it is the number of shares received
- If the event is a split or spinoff, it is the number of assets that you received as a result of the split or spinoff
- If the event is a commission, you can put 0
- If the event is the input, output, other income or expenses of a currency, this value represents the amount of funds entered, withdrawn, spent or received
- If the event is currency conversion, this value represents the total amount of the currency that is received as a result of the conversion
- Currency* - Currency of the event
- FeeTax*:
- If the event is a dividend, it is the amount of tax that the broker withheld
- In all other cases it is the amount of the commission
- Exchange – the stock exchange where the asset is traded (optional). The following values can be entered:
- NYSE - New York Stock Exchange
- NASDAQ - NASDAQ
- LSE - London Stock Exchange
- HK - Hong Kong Stock Exchange
- ...
- FeeCurrency:
- If the currency of the transaction fee differs from the currency of the transaction itself, then specify the currency of the commission
- In all other cases you can leave it blank
- DoNotAdjustCash:
- This field is filled only in cases when you take into account currency movements in the portfolio - deposits, withdrawals, purchase/sale of currency
- True - if the movement did not affect the balance of the currency in the portfolio (for example, dividends that are credited to another account, or a tax deduction, etc.)
- In all other cases, you can leave it blank
